Frequently Asked Questions

Do all rooms have views of Loch Linnhe?

No. Many of our rooms enjoy beautiful views across Loch Linnhe, while others face the rear of the hotel towards our rock garden. If waking up to the Loch is important to you, make sure you select a room described as Loch View when booking.

Is breakfast included?

Yes. Breakfast is included with all of our room rates, with a selection from our hot and cold breakfast buffet. Heading out early? We can also arrange a breakfast-to-go bag. Simply speak to us before 9pm the evening before.

What size are the beds?

  • Our Queen rooms have a UK king-size bed, approximately 152.5cm × 203.5cm.
  • Our King rooms have a UK super king-size bed, approximately 180cm × 200cm.
  • Twin rooms have two single beds, each approximately 90cm × 200cm.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Yes. We have two rooms designed for guests with reduced mobility. They offer additional space, lower-level light switches and more spacious bathrooms with walk-in showers and grab rails. Accessible parking is available, and lifts provide access between the main areas of the hotel. Please contact us before booking if you have specific accessibility requirements and we’ll be happy to help you choose the most suitable room.

What is MacDuff Lodge?

Some of our bedrooms are located in MacDuff Lodge, a short walk across the hotel car park from the main building. Rooms in the Lodge are on the first floor and are accessed by a flight of stairs, with no lift available. When booking, these rooms are clearly identified with MacDuff Lodge in the room name.

Is there Wi-Fi in the bedrooms?

Wi-Fi is available throughout our public areas. Due to our Highland location, speeds can be a little more leisurely than you might be used to — which we like to think is sometimes a good excuse to switch off and enjoy the view.

Is there parking at the hotel?

Yes. We have a large complimentary car park for hotel guests, with no reservation required. Accessible parking spaces, motorcycle parking and a covered bicycle rack are also available.
