Where is Clan MacDuff Hotel?
Clan MacDuff Hotel is located on Achintore Road, approximately two miles south of Fort William, on the banks of Loch Linnhe. Our location gives you easy access to Fort William while offering a peaceful setting away from the town centre.
Do all rooms have a view of Loch Linnhe?
No. Many of our rooms enjoy beautiful views across Loch Linnhe, while others face the rear of the hotel. If the view is important to you, choose a room specifically described as Loch View when making your booking.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. Breakfast is included for hotel residents, with a selection from our hot and cold breakfast buffet. If you’re heading out early, a breakfast-to-go bag can also be arranged. Please speak to us before 9pm the evening before.
Is there a restaurant at the hotel?
Yes. Our restaurant serves evening meals and enjoys panoramic views across Loch Linnhe. Dinner is served between 6pm and 8pm and reservations are required. Non-residents are also welcome to make a dinner reservation.
Is there parking at the hotel?
Yes. We have a large complimentary car park for hotel guests and there’s no need to reserve a space. Motorcycle parking and a covered bicycle rack are also available.
How far are you from Fort William?
We’re approximately two miles south of Fort William. Fort William railway station is around 2.4 miles from the hotel, approximately 5–10 minutes by car.
Do you have WiFi?
Wi-Fi is available in our public areas, although it is not currently available in the bedrooms. Being in the Highlands also means our connection isn’t quite as fast as you may be used to, sometimes that’s not such a bad thing.
Do you accept pets?
Unfortunately, we don’t accept pets at the hotel, with the exception of registered service dogs.

Rooms are very large, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is very good and varied, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money!

The room was very large, with a comfortable bed. The hotel staff were all very lovely, and the included breakfast was great. We had a great night’s sleep.

The location is excellent. Our room was spacious, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Dinner was very good and the restaurant offers a beautiful view of the loch.
